Michael Ryan Jones

Mikey was born to Michael and Karen Jones on April 25, 1989 in Mesa, AZ. He is also survived by his Wife, Emily Clare Roseo; Sisters, Anisha Ward (Seth), Rhiannon Litecky (Rob) and Kendra Butts (Seth); Brothers, Brian Butts (Anita) and Casey Jones (Fred); Grandfather, William Scott; Nieces, Hailey and Dakota; Nephews, Nathan, Ryker, Austin, Tanner and Lincoln; Uncles, Greg Jones, Len Jones, Dan Menezes, Chuck Scott and Carey Scott; Aunts, Valerie Morgan, Sue Jones and Gina Scott; and many cousins. Michael is preceded in death by Grandmothers, Anne Scott and Audrey Jones and Grandfather, Gary Jones.

Mikey was accomplished in many fields. He was a Certified Botanist, Yoga instructor, Mountaineer Climbing Instructor, and Survival Guide. He truly was an outdoor enthusiast who loved rock climbing, camping and hiking. He genuinely loved sharing his passions with others. He had a seemingly endless knowledge base of facts, which he would gladly share with you. Mikey had an innate creative bug that he expressed through his drawing, art, and cosplay costume design. He had a love for animals and was skilled in numerous facets, including shooting, drawing and welding. Michael also had an avid interest in weapons, tactical drills and launching rockets. He was a great ranch hand and enjoyed the time spent together with his Grandfather; he loved the stories they shared. Mikey cherished time spent with both family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to have known him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service to be held on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248. A gathering will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a catered reception to follow the service.
