Pam was born in Tucson Arizona October 12, 1951 to Margaret and Louis Sallay. She graduated from Amphitheater High School in 1968. Pam graduated from cosmetology school but chose not to practice because she was do so well working at Woolworths. When Target took Woolworths over, they sent her to a store in Mesa. After Target she managed a Scottsdale Goodwill store and then Merlos cutlery store in Arizona Mills Mall. When that store closed, she worked for the State of Arizona.
Pam doted on her nieces and nephews. She was their Auntie Pam. She took them to movies, loved playing games with them, tickling their knees, and just making them happy.
While working at Target, she met the love of her life, Jim McHose. They were married May 14, 1994. She gained a step-daughter and later two step-grandchildren. She was very proud of all of them.
Pam enjoyed traveling to interesting places. She and other family members took her mother and her mother’s friend to London and Scotland so her mother could meet relatives of her father who died in WW1. Pam and Jim enjoyed a cruise to Alaska, a week in Seattle and one in Yellowstone. A cruise throughout the Mediterranean was the trip of a lifetime. In later years she enjoyed jaunts to Laughlin with her husband, and regular Tuesday phone calls with her sister Karen.
Pam did various craft projects including, among others, a hot tub cover, thanksgiving thankful turkey and a canvas tote.
Pam touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew her.
