

Richard was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on December 13, 1940 to John and Belle McCullough. He graduated high school and was a member of the United States Marine Corps.
Richard had many interests in his life, including gardening, stock trading, reading, entrepreneurship, computers, and inventing/designing. He enjoyed going to the beach and going for drives with his wife, Anita. He always kept up on business and he liked watching Fox News. He loved helping people, and he was always wanting people to know Jesus. His family remembers him as a good, loving man who always had a smile on his face.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Anita Pearl McCullough; his daughters Bonnie McCullough and Cindy Robledo and her husband Sal; his son, John McCullough; grandchildren, Michael McCullough and his fiancé Alison Smith, Dustin Mock, Aubrey Mock and her fiancé Kris Metz, and Taylor McCullough-Hunter; great-grandchildren, Rylie Metz, Isla Metz, and Atlas Metz, and sister Janet Glover.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents, John and Belle McCullough, his sister Betty Botonis, and a son, Baby Boy McCullough.
The family would like to give special thanks to: Grace Community Church and everyone involved in Richard’s medical care from Fresno, CA, Maricopa, AZ, and Chandler, AZ; and to the staff of Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery.
There will be a graveside service held at Valley of the Sun Cemetery in Chandler, Arizona on Tuesday, May 9th at noon. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3 pm at Grace Community Church, 44977 W Hathaway Ave, Maricopa, AZ 85139.
