Robert “Bob” John Frame, 70, passed away on February 26, 2026. Born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Queens, Bob lived a life defined by intelligence, strength of character, and a deep sense of responsibility to the people he loved.
Bob earned both his BA and MBA from St. John’s University, reflecting his disciplined mind and commitment to growth. During his time there, he was a member of the Tau Epsilon Phi Fraternity, Epsilon Mu Chapter, a connection that reflected the value he placed on friendship, loyalty, and community throughout his life.
He built a career in finance, operations, and risk management, where he was known for his precision, insight, and leadership. He approached his work with focus and intensity, earning the respect of colleagues who recognized both his intellect and his ability to see what others missed.
Bob had a powerful presence. Thoughtful, serious, and highly perceptive, he could be intimidating at first—but those who knew him understood his sharp wit and dry sense of humor.
He expressed love through action. Bob was deeply protective of those he loved and showed his care in steady, consistent ways. He took pride in providing for and looking after his family, approaching that role with quiet commitment and strength.
He loved music, sports, and shared food, and was a lifelong, die-hard Mets fan. He also had a particular affection for dogs, treating animals with a quiet kindness and respect that reflected his character.
Above all, Bob loved his family. He was a devoted father and partner whose love was constant, enduring, and deeply felt.
Bob is survived by his partner, Ruth Nantais; his children, Allison Nantais, Robert (Bea) Frame, Torrence Frame, and Christopher Frame; and his sister, Rosemary Mohr (Peter Mohr). He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Frame, and his brother, Terence Frame.
He will be remembered as a brilliant and driven man, a steady and protective presence, and someone whose love was expressed not in words alone, but in everything he did.
He believed the most important things in life were simple: show up, take care of your people, and live it fully.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob’s memory to the Thyroid Cancer Survivors’ Association or Arizona Poodle Rescue. Those who wish may also honor him by sending a plant, symbolizing continued life and growth in his memory.
A Memorial Graveside Service for Bob will be held at 9:00 AM on Friday, May 29 at Valley of the Sun Cemetery: 10940 E Chandler Heights Road - Chandler, Arizona 85248.
