He was born in Cincinnati, OH, graduated from North College Hill High School, and served a two-year enlistment in the US Army.
On December 26th, 1964, Robert married the love of his life, Barbara. Together they had 3 children, Julie, Matt, and Philip. He worked as a line repairman at Cincinnati Bell Telephone, where he retired after thirty years of service. In summertime, he used his vacation farming over 300 acres of soybeans and baling hay.
In 2004, they relocated to Chandler, AZ.
Robert had a passion for any sports team from Cincinnati and had a great love for horses. He was an avid golfer, a saltwater reef aquarium hobbyist, a grill master, a Miller Light drinker, and the world’s greatest handyman who would respond to repair requests from friends and family at any hour of the day or night.
Robert is survived by his wife Barbara, his sisters Joyce and Karen, his children Julie, Matt, and Philip, and his grandchildren Erik, Austin, Nyla, and Kyra. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Charlene.
He will be greatly missed by friends and family alike.
