You’re still on my mind so often Rob. A life cut short, and too soon. A smart man, with the sweetest disposition.  I hope you are resting comfortably. I miss you.

Happy Birthday Rob!  We still miss you everyday and honestly still can't believe your not here with us.  You are forever in our hearts and thoughts.  Me, mom, dad, Christina...we are all thinking of you especially today to remember your birthday and spirit.  We are releasing some balloons today that I hope you enjoy in heaven!

I am so glad we have you as an angel looking down on us. You have always been the protective older brother and friend & you will continue that in heaven. You are our hero and we will always love you...forever!!!!!

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. "Van" joined my department at L3 in July of 2008.  He had a talent to evaluate and correct issues while projecting a level of confidence.  He will always have a place in the team's heart and mind. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

Our condolences to the many friends and family of Van. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to spend some time with Van while he was in the hospital.  Van will always remain in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers.  Until we see each other again...Rest In Peace friend!!!

To the Van Etten family. 
Rob and I shared a flat for three months while working together at London Heathrow Airport UK. Better known as roomie, he became our UK tour guide. We got to see allot of the UK tourist attraction mainly because of Rob, he would plan the site to go see and off we went, always smiling and making small jokes, he kept me laughing allot. A wonder co-worker a great friend 
He is greatly missed.

Rob, there are no words to describe the pain and emptiness I feel right now.  You have always been the typical big brother, looking out for me and protecting me and I know you still will be in my heart and spirit.
