Ronald Y Marquez, “Ron” 58, of Glendale, Arizona passed away early Thursday morning February 12, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred M. Marquez, Mary Alice Marquez and Tomasa Rubio. Ron is survived by his wife, Ofelia Ramon-Marquez, sons Reggie (Gloria) Marquez, Ronnie “JuJu” (Amanda) Marquez and Alex Marquez, 3 stepchildren Adrianna Montano, Manuel Coronado and Joey Coronado, brothers Eugene (Traci) Marquez, Ernie (Mary) Rubio, sisters Kathy (Tom) Schmidt, Nancy (Rod) Dalton, Patty (Mike) Gambee, Jennifer (Dave) Larsen, Sandra Rubio, 10 grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. Ron was a mechanic and he inspired his passion to his sons. He had a love of being outdoors, fishing and camping. He’ll be greatly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Valley of the Sun Mortuary from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 230 W.
