It’s hard to believe that you’ve been gone for four  years today
Your passing had a profound effect on everyone who knew you.

Laura made her way to see all our family again on August 2, 2023. I’m sure you and her are just talking up a storm.
Aunt Gloria came to join all of  you on January 10, 2024.

I love you Sharon so very much and I miss you every single day. I know you are with Mom and Dad right now, but I wish you were with me right now. Words can't express the pain of loosing has been on me, not only did I loose my sister I lost my best friend!! I know we will be together again someday. I wish and hope you knew how much I loved you and how very much a special person you were. Thank you for always being there for me, and as I am writing this I am giving you the biggest hug ever.

I just called you Sister, we had a bond with each other, that no one could ever take away from me. Growing up I didn't understand what you went through, was jealous of our Mother's special relationship with you. Over the years as I grew older, talking with you I grew to understand that relationship. Ours grew stronger after that. You  were my bestfriend. The one person that truly got me. I will always have you in my heart. I miss you more than words could ever say. The peace I have is knowing that you are with the ones you love in heaven. There are so many memories I can recall. Mostly I remember how you loved myself and siblings unconditionally.  You were always a wonderful to my children ❤️. You were such a kind and good soul.  My dear friend, my best best friend.  I have so many memories of you. I will always cherish our phone calls. It didn’t matter how much time would go between calls we always picked up where we left off and would talk for hours.  I could always count on you for great advice.  You had such a great love for your family  and friends. You were always willing to give the shirt off your back to help someone in need. Your phone calls and our time spent together are a treasure to me. We enjoyed many times together. We had some great times  making cookies, helping me sew a dress for Haleigh,  and being there when Emaleigh and Daniel were born. One of my best memories though is Dave giving you the camera and saying you were in charge of taking pictures when Daniel was born. After the pictures were developed we realized that might not have been the best idea. You were so excited and crying tears of joy that some of the pictures were not for the eyes of anyone but me. 17 years later we still got a laugh out of that. I will miss you very much. There are days I think to myself “oh, I need to call and tell Sharon that” but you were taken from us too soon.  You were a wonderful, kind, and caring person that I will miss dearly. Heaven is a lucky place to have you as an angel. I love you Sharon Ann.

Grandma -

I remember the way you loved me unconditionally from the day you met me. You would always tell me about meeting this blonde hair blue eyed little girl for the first time and it would make me feel so loved that you always would remember that day. I loved how you where not afraid to show your emotions you would cry happy tears more than sad ones and always wore your heart on you sleeve.  Im pretty sure you where the only one I could ever let call me Haleigh Bo Baleigh. I miss you so much Grandma.

There are many things that I will never forget about Sharon. She taught me so many lessons in life. How to love a child who is not your blood. Forgiveness, empathy and understanding.  We butted heads for so many years when I was a child but I totally understand these things now thanks to her.  The one thing I will always remember is the laugh she would let out when she was picking on my dad and got him. She will be missed and always remembered.

Dear Grandma Sharon,

I am such a lucky child because I got to see you one last time before you passed away. You were such a great person.  Whenever I needed help you were right there to help me.  I want to share some of my greatest memories you.  I remember that one time in Colorado when I took a bunch of pictures of you. I just want to say I love you.

Grandma,

There are so many memories that I can share on this thread and they would get plenty of chuckles out of the whole family and friends who may read this. Like the time you had to pull a bunch of splinters out of every odd place on my body when I was a kid and all I did was cry and throw up ( you trooped on and kept pulling them out ) or the time that we all got in trouble for throwing knives into a piece of wood behind the house, or the times that I would instigate all my uncles and then I’d cry when they wouldn’t stop the “name 21 cereals” game with me. When I became an adult I had the privilege to live with you and grandpa for a little over a year. I will cherish every single moment we had together, the good, the bad, and the hardly ever ugly. Your kindness and love is still felt to this day. I already miss having our conversations over text message- the I love you grandson and the I am so very proud of you grandson.  You had recently told me to live my life to the absolute fullest while I still can and I promise you that I will! You’re the best grandma that anyone could ask for and I love you and I miss you deeply. You were always an angel down here ( even when you tried that gummy ) and we all know that your still that same angel watching over us all. Thank you for helping me grow into the man I have become and still becoming. I love you grams more than I think you’ll ever know.

I wrote it to you back in 2010. I wish I never stopped writing and I kept in better touch. It's unfortunate that I didn't realize this until it was too late. Everything in this letter stands true to this day, even it was a little cheesy. Hopefully I can stop by and read it to you soon in case you forgot. I'll never forget how welcoming you made your home, and how anyone was invited. Rest easy until I see you again.

I'm really not sure how angels work, but I am confident that you have always been an angel and certainly now is no different. I have so many memories with you cuddling up in your bed, helping you decorate your purple bedroom and watching tv together. Most of my memories include you always comforting me and making me feel ok with being sensitive. You never let anyone or anything harden your heart, you remained loving and sensitive which has always been a strength. Miss you more than you'll ever know.

I am sorry I never got the pleasure of meeting you in person. I always enjoyed speaking with you when you called to check on Dallas. I was so appreciative when you included Carson even though you did not have to.  Your kindness and giving heart made a lasting impression on me. You will be forever missed but never forgotten.

I can not put into words just how grateful I am for you and how you have loved Dallas over these years!  You rocked the grandma role and always made sure Dallas felt loved and special!  In addition to Dallas, knowing that his sister’s grandparents had both passed, you never left her out!  You always went above and beyond by asking about her, sent gifts for her and made her feel special as well!  Andy and I are forever thankful for you and how you have loved all of your grandkids!  You will always be remembered for your big heart, the kindness you always showed others and how you loved hard!  We love you and will miss you!  Fly high!

Mom,

There are so many words to describe you: Loving, Caring, Naïve, Smart, Funny, Genuine, Strong, and the list goes on. While all these words are very descriptive and certainly apply to you, they don’t do you enough justice.

The words that come to mind when I think of you are ones that you held very close to your heart and cherished the true meaning of. Daughter, Friend, Sister, Aunt, Wife, Mom and Grandma. You felt a certain responsibility in upholding the values for what each of these meant. 
•	As a Daughter, you were everything a parent would want. Always striving to be perfect and stay out of trouble.
•	As a Friend, you were there for people and would give you the clothes off your back or the last $5 in your pocket.
•	As a Sister, you were there when Mom and Dad got feisty, when brother and sisters got married and had kids and when they just needed a good laugh or someone to talk to.
•	As an Aunt, you would always try to be a confidant while also being an extension of Mom and Dad.
•	As a Wife, you always made sure everyone was taken care of and thought of before yourself. She was selfless and always made sure the house was a home. 
•	As a Mom, you sacrificed your entire being to make sure we got everything we needed even when when didn’t deserve it.
•	As a Grandma, you loved your grand kids more than they’ll ever know and knew that they were the future. 

You are the person we should all strive to be in life and because of that you will never be forgotten. 

I will be forever thankful for the man that you molded me into. It was your influence and motherly reminders that drive me to be the best man that I can be no matter the situation. I am forever grateful.

Just like we ended calls when times or situations were tough:

Aunt Sharon,
You were such a light in this world. There will not be a day that goes by that you will not be thought of and loved.  Take comfort in knowing we were all by your side as you went to Heaven.  Thank you for telling me you loved me back, as best as you could.  I hope you heard my song I played for you and I know that you are now ‘Sleeping in the Stars’. Every time your loved ones need your hand I know you will be there.  We love you always!

Even though there was distance between where we lived, you always made sure we knew you were close at heart.  You were the best first giver - always making something beautiful or finding something personal to send to make us feel special.  You made each of my babies a baby blanket by hand, which will get passed down to their kids.  I’ll never forget this and many other heartfelt things you said and did.  Thanks for being you.  You’ll are loved and will be missed.

You and your family were the greatest neighbors and I was always made to feel at home when I came over.   Even though we had not seen each other in our later years, I always remembered your sweet laugh and you were one of the kindest friend I was lucky to have. My dearest Sharon I have many wonderful memories of our lives together as sisters. The sisterly fights we had. Sharing a room together was interesting as we always tried to think of ways to split it in half.  We were so opposite personality wise but loved each other dearly. You were the sweetest, kindest, most loving, compassionate, and forgiving person I ever knew. When I say this it comes from my heart because it’s true. You were bigger than life. When people would meet you they were getting a friend for life. I can only imagine what it was like to see mom, dad, and Spring again as you made your journey to heaven.  God bless you!!!  RIP. i remember the day you let me into the family meetings and treated me better than my own family. you always gave me your love and attention when i needed it. i’m sorry this happened so early in your life. i took advantage of time and should have visited more. i am forever regretful for it. i’m sorry. 

Sharon, you were and still are the best big sister ever.  If anyone ever asks me to describe you in two words, those would be Mama Bear.  Didn't matter who they were, your sons, friends, siblings or our parents, you didn't mess with them on your watch.  I remember your misadventures in creative cooking, the loud bawling you let out as you walked down the aisle as a bridesmaid at your brother's wedding and the liquid fun you had at your sister's wedding. Though in your defense, you didn't know the punch was spiked.  I can still see you dressed up as a pumpkin at Halloween, insisting on a Christmas stocking well into your 20's. Sewing the legs on Dad's shorts so he couldn't get his legs through them.  Also sewing up the sides so he thought he was gaining weight.  And only you would think to send a picnic in a box to the family while you were in Germany.  So many other things.
