Stephanie Lynn Wyllie

Stephanie was born and raised in Arizona. She went to Scottsdale High School (go Beavers!) and in 1995, began her career with Southwest Airlines. With a warrior spirit and a servant’s heart, Stephanie provided Positively Outrageous Service to airline customers. Throughout her career, she made lifelong friendships with her cohearts.

Stephanie took most pride in being a mother and grandmother. Organizing birthday parties, making every holiday magical, being silly, and most importantly, offering warmth and kindness was her specialty. She is survived by her children Ashley Cross, Jennifer Johnson, and Eric Pelfrey, grandchildren Austin Duncan, William Ortiz, Brody Johnson, Stephanie Brooklyn Ortiz, and Elzie Ortiz, and her great-grandson, River Duncan. Stephanie is also survived by her mother, MaryLou Kluza, brother Larry Todd Taylor, and is preceded in death by her father Larry Rae Taylor.

Her warrior spirit and servant’s heart were evident to all who met Stephanie. She had an endless supply of love and humor.

A celebration of life for Stephanie will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery, 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248.
