Teresa Lynn Mills, 61, passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family on Friday, August 3, 2018 at her home in Chandler, Arizona. Teresa was born August 8, 1956 in Lansing Michigan, the daughter of the late Joseph Barnett Reid and Constance Hamlin Palmer. She graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and worked many years in the medical field. She served as the Medical Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Israel from 1994-1998. Teresa loved traveling, entertaining, and cooking, but most of all spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Andy Mills of Chandler, AZ; her son, Paul Nakata and his fiancée, Karen Malina of San Francisco, CA; her brother, Tim Reid and his wife, Chrisann Reid of The Villages, FL; four sisters, Tammy Preston and her husband William of Broomall, PA, Trudi Tooke and her husband Jan of Owens Crossroads, AL, Tonia Hamlin of Tulsa, OK, and Trace-Ann Green and her husband Dan of Ashburn, VA; her grandchildren, Eden Nakata and Aidan Graham of Chandler, AZ; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins all very special to her. She is predeceased by her son, Adam Nakata in December 2014. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 161 North Mesa Drive, Mesa, AZ 85201.
