Born on February 10, 1935 in Franklin, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Wayne Fish and Waive Sturgis Fish. She attended Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey from 1952-1955. She later married Bruce H. Bennett on February 14, 1956.
She worked at Chicago Pneumatic Tool Company in Franklin, PA for 21 years. In 1985, she, her husband Bruce, and son Rodney moved to Chandler, AZ then later to Mesa. She also worked at Arizona Pneumatic Tool Company in Tempe, AZ for 15 years.
She liked to camp and was very involved in choir music for several years with both Presbyterian and United Methodist Churches in Pennsylvania. In Arizona, she was a member of Dayspring United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Delight B. Lane and her husband Timothy E. Lane; and grandchildren, Miranda and Steven Lane.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce H. Bennett; parents, Wayne and Waive Fish; brother, Raymond W. Fish; sister-in-law, Reva Peters; and son, Rodney Bennett.
