Betty Odell Dailey

CHAPIN - Betty ODell Dailey 83, of Chapin passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 20, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Girlie Ballentine and widow of Lawrence Dailey. She was a sister to Nettie Derrick, Mama to Becky Cantor, Maw-maw to Sable Wright, Sagan Travis, and Aubrey Cantor, great-Maw-maw to Adalie, Ella, & baby boy Travis, aunt Jo to Terry Rowell and Tim Derrick and Betty Jo to friends and family. She loved to garden, cook, and travel.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Carolina Wildlife Cares or Newberry Animal Shelter. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Shady Grove United Methodist Church in Irmo. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
