CHAPIN – A funeral service for Karen L. Weaver, 67, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Heritage at Lowman with visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Chapin We Care, 1800 Chapin Road, Chapin, SC 29036. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Weaver was born August 17, 1947 in Canton, OH and passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015. She was the daughter of the late David Brown and Mildred Scott Brown. She was very active in the Chapin Women’s Club and loved to golf. She was active in the Timberlake Community and retired after 32 years with Bell South.
Karen is survived by her husband, Donald Weaver of Chapin; daughter, Denice Kennedy (Bill) of Canton, OH; sister, Marsha Rennecker (David) of Canton, OH; brother, Richard Brown (Louise) of Windermere, FL; grandchildren, Thad and Donny Harris; nephews, Adam and Daniel Rennecker and niece, Sharon Brown-Eastham.
