A formal and respectful remembrance of Mercedes reflects a devoted woman whose days were enriched by the simple joys she held close. She loved shopping, loved animals, and found steady peace in gardening and bird watching—interests that spoke to her attentive, caring nature and her appreciation for life’s quiet beauty.
Mercedes is survived by her children, Francisca Navarrete, Maria Navarrete, Hilda Castro, and Alexander Rodriguez; and grandchildren, Gigi, Daniela, Yesenia, Chris, Horatio, Ryland, Ariel, and Elizabeth. She is also survived by her siblings, Yolanda, Rosita, Mirna, Daysi, Mary, and Jose.
