Betty Lou Price

Betty Lou Price, 79, of Charleston passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born October 12, 1934 in Dille a daughter of the late Levi Earl Martin and Dessie Lawson Martin. She was also preceded in death by two husbands Bob Hunt, and Ercelle Price, two sisters, Lorene Campbell, and Violet Whysel. Betty was retired from C&P Telephone Company after working 36 ½ years. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, and the Eastern Star Tiskelwah Chapter #45. She was also a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Survivors include four sisters Phyllis Graham, Grace Cavender, Maxine Ellison, Belpre, OH; and Loretta Keener of California, one brother Joe Martin of Bessemer City, NC; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 12noon at Wilson Funeral Home, 420 Lee St. West, with the Pastor Barry Moll officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Visitation will be two hours prior to the services at the funeral home.
