Mrs. Pearsall, of Charlotte, died at Mercy Hospital on May 31, 2011, having lived a long and loving life.
She was born in Baltimore, MD, on December 18, 1919. During World War II, she worked at the Glenn L. Martin aircraft plant in Maryland as a 'Rosie the Riveter' building B-26 bombers. She moved frequently as an Army wife and eventually settled in North Carolina.
Agnes had recently moved to the Wilora Lake retirement community where she enjoyed meeting new people. She also loved to read, travel and tell jokes. She was a devoted mother who would do anything for her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and 3 brothers. Agnes was also predeceased by her son-in-laws, Edwin 'Skip' Ward and Arthur Brown, Jr.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Joan Pearsall Ward and Darlene Pearsall Brown, as well as nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a private service with interment at Sharon Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to McEwen Funeral Service, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC.
