Aleta moved to J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center, formerly known as Western Carolina Center, on May 6, 1969 from Charlotte, NC. The family would like to offer their sincere thanks to J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center for their compassion, love, and care for Aleta over the many years.
She loved Elvis and enjoyed art, movies, and visiting family and friends in Charlotte, NC.
Aleta was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Joanna (Brown) Greene and her grandparents, Paul and Mabel Brown. She is survived by her aunts, Linda Paulette Brown and Agnes M. Yoos; brother, Byron K. Greene; sister, Myra G. (Paul) Roberts; niece, Candace N. Roberts; and her family at J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center.
A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn West Cemetery on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Rick Schubert and Chaplain Sally King officiating. Memorials may be made to Assure the Future, 300 Enola Rd. Morganton, NC 28655.
