Amie Lynn Pedone Arp

Amie, 47 of Charlotte, NC passed away peacefully July 18, 2020 at Atrium Health Pineville Hospital surrounded by her loving family. While Amie battled a chronic health issue for several years, her passing was unexpected.

Amie was born in Akron, Ohio on November 24, 1972 to Michael J. Pedone and Sandra Peters Pedone. She graduated in 1991 from Akron North High School and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina shortly thereafter. There she met and married the love of her life, Jeffrey B. Arp. They have 2 beautiful children, Jeffrey (19) and Skylar Grace (16) whom she adored and were the joy of her life. Amies entire family was her life and she was fiercely loyal to every one of them.

Amie was a long-time resident of the Charlotte area, where she had many beloved friends, in addition to the many cherished friends from her hometown of Akron. She was a member of St. Phillip Neri Catholic Church in Ft. Mill, S.C. Amie had a deep faith, something she proudly shared with her mother, Sandy.

Amie, Jeff and the kids loved to go to the beach, where they spent many summer vacations, both as a family and with her siblings and their families. It was their “happy place”! She loved to bake, read and listen to music with her kids – especially driving around playing their favorite songs. Amie loved to watch her family play sports, sitting on the sidelines cheering them on whenever she could. Second only to the love she had for her family, was the love she had for her dog Loki.

Amie loved to laugh and to make others laugh! She was never without a joke, a witty comment or hilarious story that she was always happy to share. She ALWAYS had a smile on her face and a kind word for a friend or family member. Her laughter will be forever missed.

She was preceded in death by her father Michael and those remaining to cherish Amies memory are her husband Jeff, son Jeffrey and daughter Gracie, her mother, Sandra Pedone and siblings Michael Pedone (Mary) of Strongsville Ohio, Patrice Pedone, Suzi Pedone Kuykendall (Kyle), both of Charlotte NC, Becki Pedone of Akron Ohio and her 7 nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother and siblings, she will be greatly missed by her loving in-laws, Sandra Lundquist, Meredith Arp, Jason Arp (Kelly) and their families.

Memorial service will be announced in the near future.
