A native of Winsted, CT, Ann was born to the late John Henry Wilson and Mary Case Wilson on July 23, 1925. She was a member of Sardis Presbyterian Church. Ann is preceded in death by her husband, John McKendree; sisters, Joyce Wilson and Isabel Wilson.
Ann will always be remembered for her kind and caring manner and for putting others before herself.
Ann is survived by her son Scott McKendree of Raleigh.
A graveside service will be held 2:00pm, Thursday, February 3 in Sharon Memorial Park with the Reverend Dr. Jane Fobel officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 1 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at Wilson Funeral and Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Road.
In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the Humane Society of Charlotte, 2700 Toomey Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28203.
