Anne's love and quite comfort will be missed in so many ways.  We are blessed to have shared time with her  and will always appreciate the lessons of caring and compassion that she inspired.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Harry, her family and friends as we all try to make sense of our world without her in it.

Anne and I are second cousins and had just started to reacquaint after rearing our families.  We spent time as children when the relatives would meet in Lynchburg, Va. but somehow drifted apart when our grandmothers (sisters) passed away.  Anne was a lovely, generous person and is gone way too soon.  Rest In Peace, Anne, condolences to all who loved her.


Anne's son Josh  and my son Toby played baseball together also at park Sharon. Us both  being the mother of all sons we shared a common bond.  She was always very sweet and so fun to be around. She organised so many fun things for the kids to do. She will be missed. 

Anne became a great friend when my wife Julia and I started teaching pottery to the students at Cotswald school.  She was always there and we came to love her.  I know that she is sitting Next to my Sweet Julia and sharing stories of our firings.  I will miss this sweet lady.

My prayers are with Anne's family and my wonderful Uncle Harry. Anne was such a sweet person and always had a big smile for everyone she met. I will always remember her kind, caring nature. Sending wishes of comfort for everyone who was close to Anne.

She was the sweetest women. Always willing to help anyone. Here is a great recent example. 
Anne lived close to me. My dog (boone) got out one day and my entire family was distraught. On the second day he was missing me and my kids started going to all vets in the area to put up posters. We got to the first one and they said a lady came in earlier and left information about him already......I had no idea who would do this. We went to the second and third vet and same story. I was baffled and had no idea who did this. Somehow a week later we found out it was her. Never once did she tell me she was going to do that and didn’t want praise. She was a truly good person who wanted to help people. What a amazing person. I have several other stories like this one. She gave me cookbooks when I was younger (even a Disney one..which was her favorite) and a original hornets jacket that was her boys when I was pregnant with my first daughter. 
P.S we found the dog.

My sympathy to all who loved Anne. I am a rather distant relative and did not know her, but I know what it is to lose someone you love. May you find peace in her memory.

I was so very fortunate to meet and get to know Anne and Harry through my husband, Sam Ergle.
Anne was the perfect example of what a true friend should be. She always listened intently to your stories and shared hers also.
She was so very quick to help and share and offer to do something for someone else.
She was such a devoted helper to Harry.
She will be so greatly missed by the so many friends and family and extended families that knew and loved her.

We worked with Anne at Presbyterian and our children were born close to one another. Unforgettable laugh and smile - still can hear it in my head. Our prayers are with the family during this incredibly difficult time. May God fill your hearts with His peace.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Barker boys and families at this difficult time. I spent a lot of nights at Park Sharon ballfield with the Barker's. Anne always had a smile for everyone and went above and beyond to help wherever she could. Always organizing something for the team. I know she will be greatly missed by all those that knew her. May she have a peaceful journey home in the arms of our Lord. 🙏❤️

     I am so very saddened to hear of Anne's passing.  I grew up with Anne at First Methodist church where I can remember being in Sunday school classes with her as young as the age of 4.  We also participated together in "recorder" lessons with dear Jane Love, played hand bells in the bell choir, sang in the youth choir and had parts in church plays.  Anne was a special person.  Always kind and thoughtful.   
    My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family.  Praying for all of you and that you will find comfort in this difficult time.
