Betty Mason Etier

Born in Charlotte, NC on July 23, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Hattie Hole Mason.

Mrs. Etier was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church and had been a self-employed seamstress in the local Charlotte area.

Her husband, Ernest D. Etier, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Charles W. Etier of Charlotte, NC, Thomas W. Etier and wife, Marie of Lincolnton, NC and Linda Etier of Indian Land, NC; siblings, Clarabelle Whitley and husband, Sam of Charlotte, NC and Gene Calvin Mason and wife, Jo Ann of Huntersville, NC; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Funeral services are planned for 10 a.m. Thursday, September 25, 2014, at Oak Grove United Methodist Church, 6440 Old Statesville Road, Charlotte, NC 28269 with Pastor CherLue Vang officiating. Friends may visit one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will follow in Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
