Bonnie Dean (Griffin) Richmond

Bonnie Dean Richmond, the sweetest woman we've ever known has gone to meet her Lord and Savior on the 14th of July 2025. Mama was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on the 15th of April, 1940 to the late Floyd E. Griffin and Claudia Merritt Griffin. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth B. Richmond, Sr, her son, Kenneth B. Richmond, Jr and two brothers, Butch E. Griffin and Terry L. Griffin.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Witmore and husband, Dennis; grandchildren: Terra Gutierrez and husband, Luis; Erin Witmore and husband, Travis Langmeyer; her great grandchildren: Christian Reilly, Caleb Brim, Olivia Reilly, Ayden Brim, Jackson Reilly, David Gutierrez and Nicholas Gutierrez.

Mama loved big, and we all loved her dearly. She was a caregiver, best friend, and humble servant to God. Mama was a proud member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church where she proudly served her community. She loved traveling, laughing and most of all her family. She will forever be greatly missed.

The family will greet friends on Friday, the 18th of July, 2025 from 10:30 AM until 11:00 AM at McEwen Funerals & Cremations at Forest Lawn West Chapel. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 AM in the Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
