Brenda Gayle Jett Stikeleather, age 54 of Charlotte died March 19, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center surrounded by her family. A visitation will be from 7-9PM Wednesday evening at Forest Lawn West Funeral Home. A service to celebrate her life will be at 2:00PM Thursday in Forest Lawn West Chapel. Interment will be in Oaklawn City Cemetery. Mrs. Stikeleather was born February 12, 1957 in Fort Lewis, Washington. She was a homemaker and loved gardening, sewing, her husband, children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Malcolm Stikeleather, children, Ronald Yeager of Charlotte, Brandy Harris of Matthews, Buffy Ann of Charlotte and Amber Stikeleather of the home, grandchildren, Holly, Jacob, Joshua, Ansley, Chelsy, T. J. and Baylee and was awaiting the birth of a great grandchild to be born in May of 2011. Also surviving are her mother, Nadine Ferch of Kansas City, Mo., sisters, Carol, Sharon, Barbara and Rhonda and a brother, Ronald Jett. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Jett.
