I remember BJ mostly from Hawthorne. My fondest memory is when we had a school dance and both of our parents forgot to pick us up. BJ and I were the last ones to leave the school and it was dark, but we spent the time talking and having fun until we were picked up. He was a sweet fellow and he will be missed.

BJ and I lived across the street from each other from the time we were 7 years old until we graduated HS. Thinking of all the times we spent playing in the creek/woods behind his house or hanging out at each others houses almost everyday. My condolences to his family.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was BJ's second grade teacher at Elizabeth Traditional. He was a precious child. I loved him and he loved me! He used to call me in the late afternoons to come over to his house to play! I shall never forget him, and pray for those he left behind. May he rest in peace.

I met Bruce at Hawthorne Middle School. I got to know him during a very difficult time in my life. Like a brother, he was kind and spoke true words that are still with me today. All my love to his family. Thank you, Bruce.

My first friend in third grade when I started at Elizabeth Traditional.  Lots of fun memories on our LONG bus rides to and from Elizabeth and Hawthorne.  My prayers are with all he left behind.
