Carolyn C. Smith

Carolyn was a graduate of Florence Business College. After graduation she worked as a secretary until her marriage to Marion Claude Smith on September 4, 1948. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, and her sister, Peggy Cox Bellman.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Marion C. Smith Jr. (Patricia) and daughter, Peggy Jean Smith Triulzi (Bob) and sister, Isla Jean Cox Buckwell (John), niece Paula Buckwell Hilton (Bill), Addison and Ryleigh Hilton. Grandchildren include Brant Smith, Christina Bushra (Andrew), Adria Smith Delaney, Roby Triulzi (Dejah), Karyn Smith, Brian Triulzi (Candice); and her great-grandchildren Graham Smith, Emerson Smith, Hailyn Smith, Teagan Delaney, Jameson Delaney, Isabel Bushra and Enzo Triulzi.

The family with receive friends prior to the service. The service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, October 2, 2015 at McEwen Pineville Chapel, conducted by the Reverend Michael Cummings at First Baptist Church, Charlotte, NC. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care.

The family wishes to thanks the staff at Charlotte Square Assisted Living for caring for Carolyn for the past 6 years and treating her like family, especially Alverita, Diane and Letshu.
