Charles Morris Howard

Morris graduated from East Mecklenburg High School in 1953 and later went on to serve in the United States Air Force. He retired from Westinghouse after many years of employment. He enjoyed travelling, restoring street rods, and won many trophies and awards for cars. He and his wife, Dolly were members of Pineville Church of Nazarene.

Morris is survived by his son, James Howard; his daughter, Narvice Howard; three granddaughters, Stevie Howard Morris (Matt Morris), Courtney Deese, and Mya Ratliff. He is also survived by three great-grandsons, Porter Morris, Carter and Maverick Westberry, and two great-granddaughters, Payson Morris and Nora Gray Harty. He is predeceased by his father and mother, Charles and Sara Howard; wife, Dolly Howard; brother, Leonard Howard; and son, Timothy Howard.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 30, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Pineville Church of Nazarene, 8614 Pineville Matthews Road, Charlotte, NC 28226, 704-542-3618.
