His early childhood was spent in Michigan on the family farm. In his teens, the family moved to California. At age fourteen, Chuck was going to school and working to buy his first car. That first car lead to a life-long love for cars.
He met the love of his life, Lynne, in 1983 and they married sixteen weeks later. On their wedding day, Chuck promised Lynne forty years of happy marriage and he fulfilled that promise.
Chuck and Lynne left California in 1995 and moved to Charlotte. Together they formed many friendships including their church community. They were members of the Corvette Club for nearly twenty years. Traveling the world together, they experienced the sites of numerous countries. Chuck’s dream of a transatlantic cruise came true just months before his passing.
Chuck was an honorable man who deeply loved the people in his life. His faith was strong and he trusted God in every situation. He touched the lives of many people and many people touched his life. Praise God!
