Cheryl Hanson, 53, of Charlotte passed away on June 18, 2011 at a local Charlotte hospital. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and “Grammy”.
She was born on August 21, 1957 in Greenville, Ohio to Marion and Nancy Lou Pitzer Durham. She was an Administrative Assistant for a local property management company in Charlotte.
Survivors include her husband Gene Hanson of Charlotte, NC; 3 children, Travis and wife Marie London, Eli London, Megan and husband Billy Small; 2 grandchildren Cesira and Will; Parents Marion and Nancy Durham of Arizona; 3 sisters Lisa, Patti and Kelli; several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Cheryl’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at McEwen Funeral Service Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Rd. in Charlotte with Rev. Lee Davis officiating. Online condolences can be made to www.mcewenpinevillechapel.com.
