Christopher Ross Link

Chris was born on March 26, 1952 to James and Blythe Andrea Link in Charlotte. After graduating from NC State, he decided to pursue additional training as an electrician, which became his career choice. He also tinkered with electronics and became an early user and builder of computers.

Chris was predeceased by his parents and brother, David. He is survived by his sister, Andrea Link, and stepmother, Ann Link. Although never married, Chris held a special place in the hearts of his friends, who formed Team Chris, to provide encouragement and support in his last months of life. Among those life friends were Dave and Kathy Auger, Sam Smith, and JoAnn Anderson, plus Michelle Martin, Becky Doss and Jeanne Black McCullar.

Although very independent, Chris benefitted from the special care he received during his last months at Blissful Living Senior Care and the Levine and Dickson Hospice House of Huntersville.

In lieu of flowers, as Chris loved cats, donations may be sent to The Humane Society of Charlotte or Lake Norman Lucky Cats. Loved ones will gather in his memory at a future date at his favorite restaurant, Baoding.
