Chris I know we didn't see each other or spend much time together in the last few years, but I always knew you were not to far away or I could just call you sometimes, but now that's gone. But what isn't gone is the hope that I'll see you again someday,I know I will. Hope to see Nicki and the baby as much as I can. Nicki you are family and I loved you and Chris.  Uncle Rog

Dear Chris,

I am at a loss for words, I'm hurt and I'm angry and I dont want to be here anymore without you.  I wish that you could have been given a second even a third chance.  Everyone is asking me how I'm doing I think I've exhausted the word "fine".

This is how I really feel:
A door that opens to a part of life that you never knew existed. 
Shock - To know they are gone and I will never touch you, hug you or give you kisses.
Pain - As if your stomach was on fire with uncontrolable flames that are consuming your very essence of life gasping for air, I dont even want to breathe. 
Numb- Sadness, depression. I am sinking so low, but trying not to show it.
Loss - For you, I fregeunt the hospital thinking this is a dream it has to be. I will never see your smile only in my dreams and pictures, or speak to you on the phone, but I can still call you and tell you how my day was, that comforts me alot and I think your friends too as well, just to hear your voice and that comforts them.  Hopefully, your son will hear your voice too which will be amazing :-). 
Love - You and I and God are the only ones that will know how much you and I really loved each other.
Coping - I don't want to cope but I have to because I know you wouldn't want me like this at all. You'd say things like, "Woman, just eat and sleep we'll see each other again" You will forever be alive in my memories.
Blessed - I am so Happy to have had you in my life we had so much more to do. But I will chereish all that we have done.
Acceptance- I never wanted this time or the day to come when you would cross over to the other side and we would be without each other.

Nothing that anyone has said has brought me any comfort at all, just know that I will never stop Loving you and I miss you alot.  I'm not saying Good-bye because we will meet again :-)

Nicola, I don't know you, but read about Chris's death in the paper. My very good friend lost her husband as their child was born. She may be a good person to speak with. If you would like her contact information please let me know. Bless you.

I only met Chris once but his personality was one you can't forget.  I will be praying for you all.  He left the most amazing gift behind for you all to cherish, Brayden.  May God bless and comfort you all.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  I only met him once but knew that he was a good guy in that one meeting.  I was so shocked when Vicki told me about it at work and I know I haven't seen you in a while I wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and will be thinking of you.

Chris was one of a kind.Once you met him ,you would never forget him or his smile .We will forever hold him in our hearts. Nicki,my thoughts and prayers are with you always

Chris was one of those rare people that was geniune and always brought laughter and joy into his friends lives. We grew apart in last decade but I'm a better person for knowing him. My condolences go out to his wife and family. Chris will be missed and I will never forget how he touched my life.
