My heart was deeply sadden when a former co-worker messaged me about Cindy's passing. Cindy had a beautiful Spirit and was always smiling. She had a wonderful sense of humor also. It was my pleasure to be her Supervisor at McGuire Nuclear Station. A void was left in my heart when she left. Pictured below is a picture of me and my grandson Marcus whom she would keep for me on the weekend. She would take him for boat rides which he thourghly enjoyed. I have a Pic of Marcus in Cindy's boat on my wall and everytime I look at it I can see her smiling face. RIP my friend, you lived your life your way. Sincerely Roger

She was my second cousin / aunt who was always cracking a joke, whispering silly things in my ear and making me feel like one of the adults before I was an actual grown up. She taught me how to drive a stick shift when I was 13, sitting on her lap and probably ruining her clutch as we drove circles around my neighborhood. She was a giving, hilarious and wonderful person and I’m so sad she’s no longer here with us. Cindy, I love you and I miss you.

Cindy was a great NICU nurse and friend. She enjoyed life to the fullest. Her laugh and smile could brighten any room. She touched many lives and hearts. Her touch made a difference in many people. I will cherish my memories and knowing that we will meet again. ❤

To have Cindy for my friend has been an amazing and wonderful blessing. She was a friend who was faithful no matter what the season. She was the friend who would laugh with you, dance with you and cry with you and always be there for you. We experienced many "seasons" of life together and she was always faithful and always so kind and generous. She shared my love of animals and her heart was open to all of God's creatures . She saw the beauty in all of His creations. Many of my greatest adventures on this earth were the ones we shared and my memories of her are some of the ones I will cherish the most . So blessed to have shared this life with her.

Cindy and I and along with some other friends were in a group of Sunday dog walkers at the Humane Society. The one thing that sticks out the most about Cindy was she was always smiling. She enjoyed life and was so much fun to be around. She will be missed.

Cindy and I worked together in the NICU at Catawba for numerous years until we both retired. Cindy became one of my best friends . We worked night shift together and she always make the night go by faster by laughing, singing or dancing . She was always such a happy person, we spent time together at the pool with our fellow nurses and she just enjoyed living life to the fullest. I’ll never forget that she opened up her Moms place when I went to work prn at Charlotte so I would not have to drive an hour after working a 12 hour night shift. That’s just the kind and generous person Cindy was. She will truly be missed and prayers to the family. Rest In Peace Cindy gone but will never be forgotten.

One of my most vivid memories is when Cindy and I were working in the NICN and we decided to take water skiing lessons on Lake Norman. We would go once a week before our 3-11 shift and then go straight to work. We were only about 22 and 24 years old. Seems like just yesterday! Cindy was always ready for the next adventure in life. 🏄‍♀️🏄‍♀️🏄‍♀️Elizabeth was the other nurse that joined us! 3 musketeers 🩴🩱🕶
