

Connie was born August 25, 1931 in Brunswick, GA to George and Angelika Karson Bellios, both of whom emigrated from Greece. She grew up in Laurinburg, NC in a close-knit family with her older sister Demetra “Toula” and younger brother John, who both preceded her in death.
Connie was humble & kind-hearted. She belonged to St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church, where she was an active member of the Young at Heart group. She also belonged to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, where she attended the Forever Young group, and was a member of the Daughters of Penelope, Venus Chapter 102. Connie was retired after a long career in the accounting department of Belk’s Department Store in Charlotte. Connie loved visiting the Charlotte Mint Museum, and was a card-carrying member for many years.
Connie’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at St. Nektarios Church, 5108 Kuykendall Road, Charlotte, NC. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., and the funeral rites will begin at 1:30 p.m., with burial to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Sharon Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the care of McEwen Funeral Service- Charlotte Chapel.
