Constance Huneycutt Hudgins Pearce passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, September 3, 2015. Mrs. Pearce was born on May 1, 1923, in Charlotte, NC to the late Charles Herbert and Malinda Broome Huneycutt.
Mrs. Pearce served in the United States Navy from 1943-1946. After earning a Degree in Accounting from the University of South Carolina at Columbia, she worked many years as a bookkeeper. She retired as a corporate accountant with Nucor Corporation in 1987.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Pearce was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Hudgins and Davis Pearce, brothers, Craig Huneycutt and Charles “Cutty” Huneycutt, and sister, Jane Christmas. She is survived by one brother, Dan Huneycutt of Charlotte, a step-daughter, Gloria Avery of Colorado, and many nieces and nephews.
