He left behind his loving wife of almost ten years, Tina McMillan Brooks.
He was a retired auto mechanic and loved old cars and NASCAR. Danny was a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers for many years, and a huge football fan overall.
In addition to his wife Tina, Danny is survived by his son Frankie Brooks, Roanoke, VA; three grandsons, Tyler, Ryan and Kirby; sisters, Rosemary Burnette of Monroe, NC, Cathey Brooks Elders of Rock Hill, SC, Georgie Inman (Jerry) of Charlotte, NC; brothers Ronnie Brooks (Brenda) of Alabama, Dale Brooks (Renee) of Gastonia, NC, and Gary Brooks (Heidi) of N. Wilkesboro, NC.
A memorial service for Danny will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 5:00 PM at McEwen Funeral Service-Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28210.
