Sunday morning.
I sit on my perch scanning between the clock and window in my front door. The clock reflects, this wicked day, taking our precious hour to gain more sunshine. Today if we could cash in our “hour” we would collectively line up for a few more hours with you!
I see you thru my door, peeking in to call us to the porch to discuss the neighborhood status.
Ezra on your hip,
tethered to your hand,
riding in the wagon,
driving his car,
riding his bike,
Phillip tail up circling your feet….
You grinning ear to ear, your eyes twinkle at their antics!
Our last hour together, forever cemented in my soul, you roused and opened one eye, then the other and said, “Hey!” You were with me and I began the outside status check,
Bright sunshine,
daffodil count,
Simba’s under Jessie’s truck,
whose blowing/mowing, etc.
You were right with me!
I will forever look for “Your face at my door”,…
I still listen for that grey Mustang, or racing motorcycle…
I’m really gonna miss you!♥️

Jean, I am deeply sad to hear of Alex passing. I have nothing but lovely memories of him. He was a kind and generous man, easy to spend time with and share good food and good laughter with at each family gathering. 
I will hold you, Jessie, and Ezra close in my prayers as you navigate this path without him.

My condolences to all who loved Alex. We have lost a true friend and kind man. He did so much good in his life and will live on through that goodness in our hearts.

Alex and I worked together at Premier during his last few years there.  He was always so easy to work with and dreaming up new ideas that our technology team tried to bring to life for him either by building a new tool or finding the right partner.  I remember Alex as a kind soul who understood that people were always more important than the work.

Write a condolence... Let's see, I met this family years ago because of Anderson. Anytime I'd come over pops and momma bear would always welcome me in we would sit around bullshitin about something Anderson  had done or was doing that was dumb. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Anderson would know... that was all the time. But that was most of our communication for most of the time I've known them up until Anderson passing. After that I really grew close to pops and momma bear doing everything I could to help . Sitting outback at the campfire with all of andersons close friends and mom and pops talking about all the wild shit Anderson had done and just seeing them both smile at all of the stories we had. Pops, what you have been going through the last two years has not been easy but you always tried your best to put a smile on your face. I hope when you got to Anderson you gave him a good punch for all of us down here, then gave him the biggest hug. I hope you two are up there riding motorcycles on nothing but open country roads. Love you pops thanks for being in my life.

Alex will be truly missed. We worked together for such a short time while at Advantus. Alex provided so much insight and experience to our team and was lovely to work with. 

He and I had a few tearful chats following the loss of his son, as I had been through a similar loss of my son a few years ago. Frankly Alex helped me more than he would ever know. 

Condolences to the family, and many prayers.

Alex was a great neighbor, always smiling and friendly, a great people person.  With sadness, we will miss him.  We will pray for Jean, Jessie, and Ezra.

Alex was a very nice neighbor.  I will miss him.

Alex was a special guy whom I got to know well through the years. He was always so kind and giving. He was a joy to be around.
