

Born January 2, 1930 in Lumberton, NC, Mr. Fuller was the son of the late William Frank Fuller and Eliza Neal Higley Fuller. He was a graduate of Catawba College in Salisbury, NC and continued his love for his alma mater through the years as a member of its Board of Trustees.
Mr. Fuller served his country beginning in 1946 at Fort Belvoir and he began his lifelong career in real estate with The Ervin Company as Sales Manager in 1959, retiring on October 15, 2012. He was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church and Carmel Country Club, as well as the DeBordieu Club and Sportsman Club of Charlotte. He enjoyed saltwater fishing, hunting, golf and vegetable gardening, and he especially loved baseball.
His family includes his wife of 57 years, Margaret Jane Bost Fuller; two sons, William Mark Fuller and David E. Fuller, Jr. and wife Karen, all of Charlotte; and grandchildren, William Alexander Fuller of Ann Arbor, MI and Elizabeth Merritt Fuller of Athens, GA; as well as his sister, Bobbi Fuller Adams of Folly Beach, SC.
The family would like to thank the CNA’s at BrightStar and the staff at Clare Bridge for all of their help, patience and understanding over the last few months.
Friends and family are invited to a life celebration for Mr. Fuller at Carmel Country Club on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 2:45 pm.
