

He was a former mechanic and loved to wheel and deal at the local flea markets. If you asked him how he was doing, he would always say, “Well if I go to complaining it might make it worse.” His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the lives he touched.
David is the son of the late L. Howard and Margaret E. Thompson Pressley of Mecklenburg County. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris R. Pressley, and three brothers Charles, Bobby, and Mike Pressley.
He is survived by his children, David A. Pressley, Jr. (Patricia), Tracey Pressley and Danny Kuhn (Natalia); step-children, Robert Wiestling, Walter Wiestling, and Donna Minton (Charles); grandchildren, Sommer, Cale, Dillion, Brandon, Anthony, Garrett, Taylor, Andrea, Sara, Jamie, Joshua M, Shelly and Tammy; great- grandchildren; Allisa, Elijah, Savannah, Aspen, Ty, Novalea, Sawyer, Christopher, Winona, Ethan, Ayen, Owen, Grayson, Sofia, Allison, Sydney, Robert, Haley, Joshua Mc., Zoey, Andre, Anastasia, Charlotte, Emmett, Asher, and Aria.
He also leaves other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
A visitation for David will be held from 1:00 pm until the time of his funeral service at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 in the chapel of McEwen Funerals & Cremations at Forest Lawn West, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC, with his cousin, Tommy Stewart officiating.
