Born on June 10, 1945 in Orlando, FL to David and Rita Hickey Shattuck, David proudly served in the US Navy for four years. He later spent his career as a technician with Bell South for 45 years. David loved Harley motorcycles, the beach, the mountains and NASCAR. He was deeply grateful to have spent time as a member of the Knights of Columbus and participating in Kairos-Prison Ministry, bringing Christ’s love and forgiveness to all incarcerated individuals.
David is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joyce; daughters Dee Raines and Joann Fatehnia and son Michael; ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and brother, George. His parents and brothers Charlie and Kenneth predecease him.
