Eric Alexander Duerbeck

Eric Alexander Duerbeck born December 21st, 1970, passed away peacefully on April 16th, 2026, at the young age of 55. Eric’s smile and boisterous laugh was unmistakable and will be missed by so many people who were around him.

From a young age Eric loved working with anything that had an engine. From lawn mowers to motorcycles and every vehicle imaginable. He later became a mechanic working for several shops but most recently was working at T&E Tire.

He was also an exceptional “Grill Master”. He was known for his expertise in grilling and smoking all kinds of meats. From grill offs at the pool, cooking for family, or smoking meat for friends, he was always welcomed wherever he went.

Eric had the biggest heart. He wanted so much to make a difference in this world and he accomplished that. He was a beloved son, a supportive brother, the funniest of uncles, and the most loyal friend and companion. His family from both Canada as well as Germany have all shared the best of memories and he loved them all. He is preceded in death by his mother, Lise St. Louis, and his dad, Horst Duerbeck. All his friends and loved ones will miss him beyond measure.

There will be a celebration of life held at a later date.
