Eudy Eugene Williams, age 84, went home to be with his Lord and Savior January 27, 2015. He was born June 26, 1930 to the late Jeff and Ola Williams in Union County. He served as a veteran in the Army during the Korean Conflict. After the war, Mr. Williams worked with the US Postal Service, where he retired after many years of faithful service, and was a member of Paw Creek Ministries.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his brother Robert Williams. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Ruby Williams, sons; Jeffery Williams and wife Tamara of Charlotte, Ronald Williams and his wife Gina of Belmont, daughter Sharon Elaine Williams of Charlotte, grandchildren; Mitchell Williams and Wife Elizabeth, Jered Williams and wife Arianne, Amber Walker and husband Cliff, Jimmy Williams and Jonathan Williams, and Kameron Williams, and great-grandchildren; Dawson Williams, Ashton Walker and Loreli Walker.
Funeral service will be held Friday January 30, 2015 at Paw Creek Ministries at 5110 Tuckaseegee Road in Charlotte at 1:00 pm, with burial at Forest Lawn West Cemetery following the service. The family will receive friends Thursday night January 29, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at Forest Lawn West.
