Evelyn Faye Magallanes, age 80, of Pineville, passed away suddenly on Saturday February 9th, at Carolinas Medical Center Pineville. She was born in Klamath Falls, Oregon on March 23, 1932 and lived most of her life in Northern California where she had a long career in the banking industry and later ran a small day care center. She devoted herself to the caring of her husband, a stroke survivor for the last 18 years. In 2007, she and her husband relocated to Pineville.
Evelyn leaves behind Louie, her loving husband of 61 years, her daughter Marceil, son Michael, son-in-law John and sisters Christina and Norma Jean. Her surviving grandchildren are Alex and Victoria . A private service will be held at Magnolia Memorial Gardens.
