Everette "Eb" E. Reynolds Jr.

August 3, 1946 – April 26, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Everette “Eb” Elven Reynolds, Jr., who left this world on April 26, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on August 3, 1946, in Charlotte, North Carolina, Eb was the beloved son of Everette Reynolds, Sr. and Eunice Reynolds.

Eb was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters Terri, Clara, and Billie Sue; his cherished wife of 44 years, Nancy; his beloved daughters, Cassandra and Susan (Taylor); and his grandson Oliver Reynolds.

He is lovingly remembered by his devoted partner, Joan Mull; his son, Todd Reynolds (Kayce); his treasured grandchildren: Zoe and Cooper Taylor, Elias, Everette, and Etly Reynolds; and his sister, Shirley. He also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

A proud 1964 graduate of West Mecklenburg High School, Eb served his country in the United States Air Force before dedicating more than four decades of service to the railroad with CSX. Known for his strong work ethic, deep faith, and steadfast love for his family, Eb was a man of quiet strength, generosity, and integrity. He was a loyal husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather whose warmth and wisdom touched all who knew him.

A visitation for Everette will be held Friday, May 2, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the time of his funeral service at 11:00 AM in the chapel of McEwen Funerals & Cremations at Forest Lawn West, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC.
