Jayne Frances White Collins died peacefully in her sleep on February 7, 2019 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Frances was born in Gastonia, NC. She also resided in Charlotte and Concord. Frances loved her family and her church. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Concord where she served faithfully.
Frances was preceded in death by her sisters, Melba Dagenhart and Orene Bass, and twin brother, Frank White. She is survived by her brother, Charles White and sons, Mike Ellis (Joy), Pete Ellis (Carla), and Bryan Ellis (Kathy). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Olivia, Andrew, Justin, and Taylor; along with five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of the Greater Charlotte Region.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Harry and Bryant Company, 500 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC.
