Fred loved his family, faith, fishing but most importantly his wife of 50 years, Linda “DeDe” “Dee Dee” Lowder. He was a graduate of Harding High School in Charlotte, NC, and a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.
Fred was preceded in death by his brother James “Jimmy” Anderson Lowder. He is survived by his children Curt (Debbie)Lowder and Angie Medlin; grandchildren Kursti Lowder, Anna Medlin, Trevin Lowder, Lenzi (Billy) Gibby, Wyatt Taylor, Eli Lowder, Emma Lowder; great grandchildren Austin Paul, Matthew Ryan, Phoebee Rose.
Visitation will take place at McEwen Funeral Service, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00pm. Interment will take place at Sharon Memorial Park.
