Greg Sorrels age 52 of Charlotte passed away November 16, 2012 at CMC Main. He was born August 2, 1960 in Waynesboro, VA son of Mary Sorrells Rusgroves (Richard) of Hardy, Va. and the late Ralph L. Sorrells. The family will receive friends starting at 1:00 P. M. Tuesday November 20 , 2012 at Sharon Seventh Day Adventist Church 920 North Sharon Amity Road Charlotte, NC 28211 with a service to celebrate his life at 2:00 P. M. in the church sanctuary conducted by Pastor Minner Labrador and Pastor David Graham. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park. He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Rebecca Sorrells and the proud father of Caleb Gregory Sorrells, Levi Joshua Sorrells, and Emma Grace Sorrells, all of the home. Sister, Crystal Sorrells Weidman (Michael) of Rocky Mount, VA, nieces, Erin Weidman Bernard (Josh) and Taylor Weidman both of Rocky Mount, VA. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Education Fund of Greg’s children in care of Sharon Seventh Day Adventist Church 920 North Sharon Amity Rd. Charlotte, NC 28211.
