Uncle Greg, it’s so hard to think about you still. You were always the most excited person to see everyone. “Oly” or “Ollie”is the nickname you gave to me when I was young and I’ll never forget how much I was original bothered by it 😂. So glad we got to spend time with you in Greensboro a few years ago. And I’m especially glad I called you on election night to hear your political voice. Gone to soon. Love you much uncle Greg. 

Just learned of Greg's passing.  He was a great guy to work and play golf with.  I worked with him at Qorvo.  He will be greatly missed. My condolences to the family. Gone to soon.

Greg was my good friend and golf partner in Greensboro. We played 2-3 times a week for a few years and shared many good times.  I was crushed to see this obituary in a Google search when it seemed his phone was out if service.  This is a picture my daughter took at Jamestown Park that Greg photo bombed at the last second. 

Uncle Greg was a master of words, of corny jokes, and of all things technical. I remember him showing me robots he worked on and I just thought it was the coolest thing. He loved to talk about the latest technical or scientific breakthrough & though many times I was too young to truly understand, I loved seeing the excitement in his eyes when he spoke of these things. He introduced me to the excitement that is science & i will always be grateful for that. He loved to play with us & was never afraid to get dirty! My favorite memories of him are of his corny, I mean CORNY, jokes. It’s where I got my love of dad-jokes from, as he had the worst! You were a great soul & wonderful uncle. You are deeply missed, Uncle Gregario. 

My memories of Greg were when I was very young, 10 years separated us, but I recall him making silkscreen t-shirts in our basement with his friends and I believe he bought a boat named “Crack” not sure why the name. He was a huge brain, Popular Mechanics was his magazine he regularly read, he was also very open to others, passionate about his politics but not close minded, talented artist, funny and pretty much an all around nice guy. Over last few years I got to know him more on our golf outings.  I miss and love you Bro ❤️, Julie

First, I’d like to thank all of Greg’s “pinko” friends in Greensboro for doing a service in his memory on Zoom. The longer I knew Greg the more I realized how deeply in love with him I was. I remember that awareness coming to me, especially strongly over the past several months. Gregster, I will keep the birds fed for you.

Greg was more a brother to me than either of my own blood brothers. He was a kind and gentle man.
Knowing Greg he would want  to be remembered with laughter not tears.

Greg ,  you often came to my mind when I saw a robot,  a black dog like Emma, Sweden, when i heard heavy duty politics, and drove by Constellation Dr in Raleigh. That won't ever change. You will still be in my mind with love and laughter.  To family and friends: what a guy!

I have many fond memories of Greg, but I cherish most the fact that he was both an electrical engineer and an artist. He was also always game for the birthday shenanigans that we got up to.

So sorry you had to go so soon.  You made Lynn very happy. And I know you loved her beautiful smile because you told me so.
Bob and I enjoyed seeing you both on bicycles wizzing by, calling out a cheery greeting or meeting up along the road for a chat as you walked Cider.

I only met Greg once and it was obvious how close Lynn and he were.  Condolences to family and friends during this terrible time.

What can be said in so short a space...your leaving this physical world so suddenly totally shocked and saddened me..you were the ying to my yang always, but the next day my mind was flooded with fond and giggling memories which soothed your passage for me...you taught me molecular energy does not die it's a transference ❣so see you on the other side....😘

We really got to know Lynn during a visit to San Diego, 2018.
Greg was a very lucky guy.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Greg, but I was so tickled to watch Lynn's eyes light up and see her secret smile whenever she'd say 'my boyfriend'.
