Hapsoh was born in Vietnam in 1947 to Mayet and Maria Abdul. She met her husband, Loc Pham, shortly before the Vietnam War. After the war was over, they emigrated to America in the late 80’s. She was a simple woman who’s only concern was taking care of her family. From Vietnam, to Cambodia, the Philippines, New York, and West Virginia, it took many years but she finally settled in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband and two sons.
She worked as a packer at Carolina Foods Bakery and got her American citizenship in 2015. Later that same year, she had a heart attack and shortly went into heart failure. She fought for another year and hung on just long enough to know that she would be a grandmother. Checking the final thing off her short and humble bucket list, she left this world to join her youngest son.
May she now find peace and forever watch over her family.
Arrangements under the direction of Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service, Charlotte, NC.
