I have such fond memories of Harrison and James playing as children. I had the pleasure of experiencing this as you were so kind as to have shared him with us.

Harrison was such a ray of sunshine. He was constantly smiling. He was deep and kind hearted as well. 

We missed him when they parted ways to go to different High Schools.....

Harrison was one of the kindest people I have ever known and his positivity was infectious. It’s heart breaking to know that the world lost someone as unique as him but his memory will live on forever as I can only imagine all the lives he touched. So grateful to have the memories with your family and CIS from my childhood, as they will forever be cherished. 

Harrison was my first friend. I still have the green Play-Do heart he made for me when we were in preschool. He was smart, witty, funny, kind, and a bright spot in this world. I know how loved and supported he was by everyone, especially his family. This is one my favorite pictures of us at my 16th birthday party. He will be greatly missed.

Out hearts are breaking  with y’all over the loss of Harrison. There have been so many moments, so many memories. We will smile when we think back on his goofy humor, his curly hair, his infectious laugh, his Duke shirt, how dang tall he was. Oh the times we had on car pool rides, watching sporting events, many good eats, that band concert that we weren’t sure we ever really heard the trombone section playing, the birthday twins. Harrison always had a way of engaging you in interesting conversations, typically with him inserting some funny jest that would make you crack up. Through the trials of life you always think there will be time for another one of those conversations, the promise of tomorrow and we are saddened that he is gone much too soon. He will always have a special place in our hearts.

Dear Barnett Family,
To put into words your sorrow and grief is impossible. I am so sorry for your loss and the emptiness that everyone who ever had the blessing to meet Harrison, including myself, feels. I only knew him for  about six months but he made an impact to last a lifetime. His curly wild hair and his unapologetic humor he had no matter the day was something not very many people had. I do not think there is one person who Harrison knew that could not say he was one of the funniest and most kind hearted people they have met. All anyone ever wants is to impact one person, one life before they leave and Harrison did that one million times over again. I can hear him now saying "I know Tiah, I'm the worst" and then we laugh about it, because who could ever really be mad at Harrison? 
You really don't think about the last conversation you have with someone because it never dawns on you that it will be your last conversation. Our last conversation was about his blue pants, we laughed that he loved the whole that was in them (another part of his unapologetic humor).  He really took pride in those pants, as odd as it was, it was Harrison. 
I think Harrison would want everyone to smile in these dark days to come, laugh at his corny and hilarious memories of him and remember him as he was. I know he is up there making everyone laugh right now because its Harrison, that's what he did!

I was heartbroken to hear of Harrison's passing. I so enjoyed getting to visit with him the last time we were all together, and it is so tragic that he is gone so young. I know there aren't any words that make this better, but Emily, Phoenix, and myself are all so terribly sorry for your loss. I hate that I cannot be there for the memorial, but I hope we can all connect as a family sometime soon.

Dear Barnett Family, 

Our sincere condolences... I am so saddened to hear the news of Harrison’s passing. Our kids grew up together and we had the pleasure of carpooling with you. I remember how incredibly smart and witty he was... always knowing how to make us all smile. We sang, we laughed, we even cried in a few of those rides.  He could make a bad day better just by his presence. He was always so positive and made our long drive to school so much more enjoyable. May his memories live in our hearts and may his spirit continue to comfort you. He warmed a lot of hearts during his short time here and I would imagine he is making them smile in heaven now too!

My name is Alexa,  and you don’t know me but I was a good friend and coworker of Harrison’s. I am devastated by this news as I had just talked to him within a week since he had moved back to NC. I am so terribly sorry for your family’s loss.  Harrison was one of the most kind hearted and funny people I’ve ever met in my life and I am so thankful I had the pleasure to get to know him so well.      I know none of you know who I am but I used to work with Harrison actually and was so shocked when I saw this. He was always so happy and brought everyone’s moods up at work.
