

Harry G. Wells, Jr., formerly of Washington, CT, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 surrounded by his wife and children, after a courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia at the age of 69 years.
Harry was born on June 6, 1953 in Baltimore, Maryland and later moved to Danbury, CT where he attended Danbury High School. Harry went on to graduate from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Accounting and as an avid basketball fan. During his time at Danbury High and later at UConn, Harry was an enthusiastic trumpet player in their respective marching bands. Later in life, Harry would go on to bring his family back to the UConn campus to cheer on his beloved Huskies and Husky gear was often sported throughout his lifetime.
Harry married his wife, Jody, in 1980 and went on to raise two daughters, Amanda and Christina. Together with Jody, they spent more than 30 years in their Washington, CT home, enjoying hiking trails, family vacations throughout New England, and partaking in countless sporting events across the state in support of his girls’ passions.
Harry and Jody spent the last 5 years together in a new city their daughters call home, Charlotte, NC.
Harry is survived by his wife Jody (Botsford) and his two daughters, Amanda Morgan who is married to Dustin Morgan, and Christina Wells who is engaged to Stefan (Phillip) Valley. In addition, Charles Botsford of Newtown, CT and Jody’s sisters Maria Dubois and Kelly King. Harry is also survived by his brother, Thomas D. Wells, and his wife, Patricia (Tracee) Sutton Wells of New Milford, CT.
Harry was predeceased by his parents Virginia and Harry Wells of Danbury, CT.
There will be no calling hours.
