Irma Elizabeth Locke Fields, 98, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Bob and Carolyn Tucker Hospice House of Cabarrus County in Kannapolis, NC. Irma was born in Waxhaw NC on Oct 8, 1918 to Sue Winchester Locke and Furman Master Locke, Sr. Irma is preceded in death by her brothers Arnold Locke, Furman M. Locke, Jr. and Elvin Locke as well as her beloved sister Bennie L. Wallace. She is survived by nieces, Kim Locke Agnew, Kay Locke Godlewski; nephews; Michael “Gerry” Locke and David G. Wallace and her adored great-nieces, Taylor and Jordan Wallace and great- nephews, Nate and Max Agnew. Irma’s love for her family and friends was genuine and unconditional. She poured out her love, encouragement and grace to everyone she knew. We all rejoice today to know she feels no pain when she kneels in reverence and jumps for joy as she praises the King of Kings and Lord of Lords our savior Jesus Christ. Irma will be sorely missed. A private family service will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Sharon Memorial Park.
